More Than a Brand — A Journey

The Jaksonia Shop was built from resilience, hard work, and a vision for something greater. After long days of working just to make ends meet, this brand was created not just to sell accessories—but to inspire confidence, independence, and growth. Every piece represents strength, culture, and the power to create your own path.

Our founder started this journey during one of the most difficult seasons of her life, 

After moving back to America from Africa, I worked tirelessly every single day, often holding two jobs just to try to make ends meet in a tough economy. I worked from sunup to sundown, yet it still felt like I was constantly falling short and barely getting by each month. At one point, my car was repossessed because I simply could not keep up with the payments. The house I was renting had mold issues and even rats living in the basement, but it was all I could afford at the time. Later, when I began working for a bus company, so much was being taken out of my paycheck in taxes that I struggled to cover basic expenses like rent. Within less than a year, I was forced to move four different times just trying to stay afloat.

Everything changed when I discovered drop shipping with Shopify. What started as a small opportunity quickly became the turning point in my life. Through persistence, learning, and determination, I was able to build a business that created the financial freedom I had been searching for. Today, that same opportunity allows me to live abroad again and comfortably sustain my cost of living in Africa.

Now my mission is bigger than just my own success. I am passionate about helping and teaching others how they can build their own online businesses so they can support themselves while living abroad. I believe financial freedom should create opportunities not only for stability, but also for people to explore the world and design the life they truly want.
